Devastated by grief, she decides to preserve the best of their love by conceiving his child, but Gabe’s family is adamantly opposed, even willing to chance exposing long-held family secrets to stop her. Caught in a web of twisted motives and contentious legal issues, Jenny turns to best friend and attorney, Steve Grant. Steve wants to help Jenny, but he has reservations and secrets of his own.
When something so private and simple turns public and complicated, will Jenny relent? What is Steve willing to sacrifice to help Jenny?
I’m not sure if I should start with disclaimer, warning (but that word seems harsh),be advised…..I’m just going to come right out and say it. Prepare yourself and have lots and lots of tissue handy because I promise you, you are going to need it. I cried, and I’m not talking about a silent tear or two sliding down my cheek. Oh NO!! I’m talking about a good old fashioned ugly cry from the red puffy eyes, the runny nose, the crazy breathing…all of it and that’s just in the first part of the story! So heart breaking, yet so amazing. What an incredible journey you will be taken on in Just Destiny. This story has it all. Romance, a little bit of mystery and intrigue, courtroom drama, soul shattering…your emotions will definitely run the gamut.
Just Destiny is so well written, so emotionally charged that you will immediately be caught up, captivated, and swept away. You will meet some wonderful, beautiful characters – inside and out, and some not so beautiful, yet their stories are intertwined perfectly. A must, must read and I really hope there’s more to come.
