Brooke. Tyler. I’ve enjoyed your journey. I appreciated that as the reader we were able to experience their growing together. Their relationship didn’t start off quick like many reads only to build up to a climatic event and then they got back together right at the end. Nope-not this one my friends. We were with them the whole way, working through their grief, anger, and pain. I was connected to the characters and loved that my mind didn’t wander to other possible side stories. I was able to focus on Brooke and Tyler through this entire journey. Brooke…you’ve spoken directly to my heart as I grieved right along with you. The pain and heartache you experienced had me in tears. Brooke is strong, wise, and she doesn’t give up. Tyler is patient, sexy, kind, and puts others first. Gah…What a beautiful read! There’s no cliffhanger and no questions left unanswered. Just a beautiful story that I felt we got the entirety of. Give this a try and find your next crush! Rating: 4 stars
What Happens Tomorrow by debut author Elle Michaels is a touching story of tragedy and second chances. This book is full of reliving grief, finding understanding and discovering love.
The main characters Brooke and Tyler are likable enough and the story was put together well. This author grabs you at the beginning so that you want to go beyond the prologue to find out more about what happens as the story unfolds. I enjoyed how the story, at times, goes back to fill in the story where there were holes from the prologue to present day. This weaving of the history to present day built a solid foundation and helps bring Brookes story full circle. Tyler was a great guy, but as a character I didn’t connect with him as much. There was only one time in the book where he overwhelmed me and I got a sense of his character full of sexiness. Otherwise, his story was downplayed for me and I didn’t feel that I got any real feel for him, which was disappointing. As Brooke and Tyler’s friendship grows, I wondered if I missed something. As a reader I like to be submerged into a story and this felt more like I was told instead of experiencing it. As a side note, I enjoyed Brooke and “Charlie” but I felt that Charlie was almost too prominent. I loved the dynamic between Jenna and Brooke and found Jenna to be more intriguing to me than Brooke.
Overall, this was a sweet story filled with pain, betrayal, light drama and experiencing a loss and coming through to find what tomorrow may bring. Pick up a copy and give it a try. 3.5 Stars
A beautiful debut novel from Elle Michaels. What Happens Tomorrow has everything you could hope for in a story. The right amount of “back and forth” pull of angst and emotion. Being a HUGE FAN of a male POV, I love that Elle gave Tyler a voice. You will laugh, cry, sigh, and swoon. A story that will pull at your heart strings, it may even break your heart, but it will also piece it back together and make you feel whole. ~ 4 ~ Stars

I am in such a rush to get home to Charlie that I turn around, steaming coffee in hand, and walk right into this …um
…very handsome man’s chest.
I feel like such a loser.
“Oh my god…I can’t believe I just did that! I am so sorry! Are you all right? Did I burn you?”
Did I burn you? Duh!
Of course I’ve burned him! I’ve completely, second degree burned someone with a cup of coffee.
“I’m okay,” he says with a slight smirk across his lips as he pulls his coffee-soaked dress shirt away from his chest. How could he be all right? He’s lying. That coffee was ridiculously hot. I know. I had to ask the barista to double cup it.
Suddenly, I’m completely taken by how handsome my coffee covered stranger is. Trying not to look obvious, I cautiously eye him up and down, drinking in this incredibly sexy, rugged looking businessman. He’s taller than I am, I’d guess around six feet, with short, dark-sandy hair.
And his eyes…
He has the most alluring ice-blue eyes I have ever seen. Definitely the poster boy of what you would expect a man from California to look like.
Those eyes…a girl could seriously get lost in those eyes. Dressed in navy slacks and a crisp, white, linen shirt…okay,
so it’s no longer crisp and white. His sleeves are rolled up, exposing tanned and toned forearms. I wonder how it would feel to have those wrapped around me. Then it dawns on me…how long have I been standing her staring at him?
God, I hope I wasn’t too obvious!
Snapping myself back to reality, it’s apparent that the hot coffee I’ve spilled on him burns as I notice him wince.
“Really, it’s okay,” he says with a small chuckle.
Please say he didn’t notice me staring.
I rush to grab some napkins from the barista, but when I turn back around the handsome stranger is gone.
He’s left without saying a word.
I can’t say that I blame him. I must have looked like a crazy person because I most definitely was acting like one
