No In Between (Inside Out #4) by Lisa Renee Jones
The fourth in the Inside Out erotic romance series by New York Times bestselling author Lisa Renee Jones, this steamy novel resolves Chris and Sarah’s relationship and leads into Mark’s story.
“Chris and I have faced our demons and bared our souls to one another in Paris. Now that we are back home in San Francisco, I want to believe that nothing can tear us apart. Not Ava’s accusations against me to the police, or Chris’s fear that he will destroy me as he feels he did Amber. And not Mark, who was once too intimately a part of our lives, and who I can see crumbling inside out. He believes he is invincible, just as I want to believe Chris and I are invincible. We have to be invincible. We need each other too much for any other ending.”
I’ve been blown away with the Inside Out series thus far. Lisa provides us with stories within Sara and Chris’ story throughout their novels and has given us the pleasure of Rebecca’s Lost Journals and novellas from Mark’s POV. This format has made it possible for me to develop deep connections with many of the characters within the Inside Out series. The mystery and suspense has left me speechless and second guessing my gut instinct. I don’t know who to believe but I’ve formed my alliances and I’ve chosen carefully. The mystery keeps me on the edge of my seat and unable to set my kindle down. No In Between continues my journey of blended emotions featuring trust, pain, curiousity, suspense, hate, love, dread, and fear. I wasn’t ready for the novel to eat and I’ll be waiting impatiently for the next. The connection I feel with Rebecca is real in a sense that although I’ve never met her, I feel her presence in others actions and her passages connect with present happenings that are eerily relevant. Lisa joins the past with the presence providing us with pieces to a puzzle that as a spectator we have to sit back and watch be put together. But I find myself wanting in on the action as in my mind I’m trying to find where the pieces go myself. I want all the characters to find their home, where they fit. It’s interactive as though I’m there, with Blake and Jacob. This is why I can’t wait for the continuation of the series and why I’ve given No In Between a 5 star review. Give this a try and find your next crush!! Rating: 5 stars
