After a heated argument between them turns into a passionate encounter, Deacon realizes Molly is eager to experience more, and she looks to him to take her to the darker edge of lust….
In this Mastered series, Deacon and Molly are officially my favorites. I love “Deacon’s way”: the command-instead-of-ask, can’t-get-enough, need-you-now feeling coming from him. They bring out the kinkiness in one another. But they have their hang-ups they’re working through. Deacon is close-mouthed and learns the hard way that in a relationship it’s better to hear all from the source before someone else is given the option to “spill the beans”. Deacon and Molly have some down-right evil relatives in their family’s which resulted in much pain and suffering for them. This same aspect made my love for them flourish as they formed tough skin and found ways to cope with these hurtful people. Some avenues were less effective than others but their biggest acceptance was the understanding that they can’t change others so they chose to remove the negativity from their lives. I commend these characteristics because many people are not able to make this choice in life. Give Deacon a try and find your next book crush!! Rating: 4.5 stars
