Breaking Her Rules by Jennifer Snow
MMA fighters go the distance in this all-new series from Jennifer Snow, author of the Brookhollow novels.
Walker Adams was supposed to follow in his lawyer father’s footsteps, but instead he’s training to be an MMA fighter. And while he works for his chance to make it in the UFC, he’s bunking on his baby sister’s best friend’s couch. Gracie Andrews is all grown up—in all the right places. But she’s engaged to the fight match-maker who holds Walker’s career in his hands…
Gracie had almost convinced herself that she’d put her silly childhood crush on Walker to rest. But the sight of him sleeping in only a pair of boxer briefs makes it clear that some things never change. And as old sparks turn to flames, Gracie is forced to decide between the future she thought she wanted or the man she’s never stopped loving…
Grace works for MFL which is an MMA fighting company. She’s in a committed relationship with Erik, who also works at MFL as the VP. He’s stable and can offer her security, which she never had growing up with her Mom. Walker, her best friend’s older brother, crashes at her place and he has a deadline of three weeks to find his own place. Well shit, Grace didn’t account for the crush she had as a young girl to return full force…or had it ever diminished? The storyline drew me in as Jennifer’s writing proves she knows what she’s talking about within the fight world. What frustrated me was how Grace would not speak up for herself with Erik, she’d let things slide. I hurt for her and I’d see her struggles and want to fight for her. Maybe that’s what Grace thought…that no one would fight for her. Her best friend, Kylie, knew just want to say for support and other times to challenge her exactly when needed. So Kylie was fighting for her every step of the way. Sexual tension is present and pulsing. This was an exciting read with a sexy MMA fighter! Give this a try and find your next book crush!
